Freaksnow Undertow

The second week of my condemnation proceeds with expected results. Jumping from single digits all the way to page 35 and 36 today, for scanning, digitals, and backgrounds. These pages are slated to be finished today, then it’s on to 63/64 and MAYBE 65 by the end of the week. Good news is, the artwork will definitely be at 100% completion by the end of next week. Then it’s a long break ‘til the other artist has his pages completed and I’m lettering the whole thing by hand. I don’t think I’ve yet grasped the full impact of that task yet, the cold sweats and hallucinations are yet at bay.

One of my favorite things about watercolor paintings is how bad they look halfway through. Watercolors don’t usually look any good until they’re about 95% finished and go from looking like a sneezed on piece of drywall to an Artwork.

Anybody ever cast actors as characters in their headcanon? I’m thrilled to bring you this Ving Rhames/Neil Breen meeting of the minds.

Until next week, loyal caballeros!
